The character qualities of being true, kind and enduring which can be developed and expressed through skateboarding are also aspects of the primary universal values of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, the threefold principles of life according to the ancient self-cultivation way of Falun Dafa, which is rooted in buddhist tradition. In the logo above the Chinese characters in blue stand for "true" (zhen cheng), "kind" (shan liang) and "enduring" (ren nai). The meaning of the red characters is skateboarding (hua ban).
